The General Mayhem appears to be a 1968 Dodge Charger in a rat rod kind of state. It's bare bones on the interior of the car, though that's how it looks. It has a roll cage just in case the car rolls. It has 2015 Charger Hellcat splattered inside of the car like the touchscreen, gearshift, start button, steering wheel, and the speedometer system.
On the outside of the General Mayhem, the car has a scratched up black body. It's left fender is red while the right fender is black. It has a blue Hemi hood with a hole cut in the middle. That hole is covered up by a Plymouth Fury Hemi hood scoop which is tan. The grill is custom made by sheet metal, giving the General Mayhem a rat rod appearance. It's tail lights are the round 1968 lights. The headlights are the 2015 Hellcat's projector lights, or HIDs.
The General Mayhem was originally a bare shell 1968 Charger that was used as a stunt car in The Dukes of Hazzard TV series. Whoever bought that car painted most of the car black and the hood blue. One of the fenders is orange, not red. Tony bought the car and painted that fender red. He left the hood blue and stuck a Hemi hood scoop, from a 73 Plymouth Fury, on top of the Charger.
He needed a powertrain for the car so he found a mopar RV with a big block Chrysler 440 V8 into the Charger along with the Fury's manual transmission.
Tony's girlfriend, Theresa Cunningham, got her hands on a Charger Hellcat that was gonna be squeezed and they decided to put the Hellcat drivetrain into the General Mayhem. This made the General Mayhem a straight line monster with 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft from a supercharged 6.2 Liter Hemi V8 with an 8-speed automatic. It was later converted to a 6-speed manual transmission.
